Once the trace request has been sent across to the provider, it will automatically update the TMS as it progresses through the various stages.
The following fields will be updated:
- Estimated Arrival Date/Time
- Actual Arrival Date/Time
- Release Date
- Last Free Day
As each field gets updated by Trace, the order and dispatch status will be updated so that your dispatchers know what action can be taken on that container.
